The application window for the 15th April 2026 Pre and Post Internship Examination is now open and will close on 10th April 2026.

Requirements for Pre-Internship Examination:

1. Introductory letter for those who trained in Tanzania.
2. Certified copy of diploma certificate for those who don’t have A- LEVEL.
3. Certified copy of degree (MD/MBBS/MBChB/DDS/BDS/Physiotherapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Nutrition) for those who have trained outside the country.
4. Ordinary Level Certificate
5. Advanced Level Certificate
6. Certificate of Birth
7. Certified copy of Passport (For non-Tanzanian)
8. Certificate of Swahili Proficiency from BAKITA (For non-Tanzanian)
9. Certificate of evaluation from NECTA for those who trained O-level and/or A-Level outside Tanzania
10. Certificate of evaluation of academic qualifications from Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) (if trained outside Tanzania)
11. One passport size photograph with blue background
12. A non-refundable application fee amounting to USD 50 for non-Tanzanians and no fee for Tanzanians

To apply for Post Internship Examination, follow these steps: 

1. Login to your account and update your information
2. Go to attachment panel and upload certificate of completion of internship
3. Go to Examination Panel
4. Apply for the examination by selecting examination venue
5. Submit then go to payment panel and generate control number and proceed with payment
6. Application fee for Tanzanians is TZS 50,000 and for Non-Tanzanians is USD 50.
7. Payments of TZS are done through NMB Bank/NMB bank agent, or Mobile Network Operators {e.g. M-PESA, MIX BY YAS, AIRTEL MONEY, HALOPESA etc}.
8. Payments of USD are done through Tanzania Commercial Bank.

EXTENSION OF THE LICENSE RENEWAL 

Dear Practitioners,

Due to technical issues experienced with the HPRS system, many practitioners were unable to complete their license renewals on time.

In light of this, the Council has extended the deadline for license renewal to 30 April 2026. We are pleased to inform you that the following services are now fully available and functioning properly in the system: Login, Registration, Licensing, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and Examination.

All practitioners are encouraged to complete their renewal within this extended period.

NOTICE TO ALL PRACTITIONERS 

The Council wishes to inform all practitioners that on 16th February 2026 it will commence using a new system HPRS (MCT Module) for online services including registration, CPD and other related activities previously conducted through the old Council’s system (MCTIS).

All practitioner’s information which was previously in the old system have been migrated to the new system. The procedure to log in including user name and password remain the same through website link.
